The U16G team successfully won the prestigious Atlanta Cup over Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the three day event, they played five games and went 4-0-1 and only gave up three goals all weekend. During the round robin phase, the team faced three teams and ended up coming in second place due to goal differential (W 3-1 vs. ASA Xtreme, T 1-1 vs. Georgia FC Silverbacks, and W 1-0 vs. InterAtlanta FC). However, the 16G's played a semifinal match vs. Cobb FC and won in PK's after playing through two overtime periods. The championship match went through both overtimes and into PK's, which was the second time in two days that the team faced these circumstances. The 16G's were victorious as they won the PK shootout vs. a strong GSA team. The team was able to improve greatly over the course of the weekend and every single player contributed to the success of the team! Congratulations ladies and coaching staff for all your hard work; and thanks to all the parents for all their support to help make this possible.

Technical Training will start Sept. 10th for the girls with Serge Lipovetsky - girls DOC and Sept. 11th for the boys with Joel Harrison - boys DOC.The cost is $72.00 for a six week session. You will need to register at http://cpusa.countmein.com by Sept. 9th for the girls and Sept. 10th for the boys.
